History
It all started in early 2000 with Oscar Nicholson, a biochemist working as a surgical systems consultant and providing operating theatre training for a German endoscopy company. He was responsible for setting up surgical systems and providing training to each new client, a very time consuming task.
It was in this very moment that the worlds of film and business collided and Oscar realised that if he could film a training session and give it to his clients, it would save a lot of time which would allow him to make more sales and set up more surgeries.
Needless to say, his company loved the idea and had him produce a profitable series of professional training videos. This confirmed Oscar’s passion for creating effective film that addresses business concerns and communicates clearly.
In 2005. Oscar was approached by Oyster Magazine to shoot behind-the-scenes videos and runway footage of Mercedes Australian Fashion Week that would be produced into online material for their website. They loved it and so did Rosemount Australian Fashion Week (formerly Mercedes Australian Fashion Week). Oscar was asked back for three more years in a row.
This brings us to 2007 when after many more requests for film work, on productions was founded with Oyster Magazine and MySpace Fashion quickly signing up as his first clients after seeing his work at Fashion Week (RAFW).
Oyster Magazine and Myspace Fashion were followed by Kevin07, University of New South Wales, Target (Designers for Target campaign), Switch TV, Bausch & Lomb, Barkins, Sheridan and Foxtel Design as clients.
The rest is history.
